Terms of office of Town Council

The Denton Town Council are elected one per year in rotation, for a five year term. The mayor is an incumbent Council Person, chosen every year by vote of the Town Council. the New Council Person and the new Mayor take office on or shortly after the first of the year. Terms of office for each current Council Person is listed below:


John A. Foster: term ends 12/31/08
Randolph P. Moore: term ends 12/31/08
Lester L. Branson: term ends 12/31/09
Robert L. Clendaniel: term ends 12/31/11
Dennis D. Porter: term ends 12/31/12
