SummerfestCaroline Summerfest is held annually the third weekend of August. This is a free, family oriented event featuring live entertainment, fine arts and crafts, strolling entertainment, free KidzArt activities, food vendors, fireworks, hot-rods and antique car displays.
The event is held on the Courthouse Green and surrounding streets and the beautiful Choptank River in Denton, Maryland, and is co-sponsored by the Town of Denton and Caroline County Recreation & Parks. |

Caroline Court HouseCaroline County - established 1773, from parts of Queen Anne's and Dorchester Counties - held its early courts at seven different locations until 1797 when its first courthouse was built on this site, once known as Pig Point. The 1895 replacement was renovated and extensively added to 1966. The court house was purchased, 1791, for 120 shillings. Located on Market Street between 1st and 2nd Streets, Denton. |

The Choptank River Heritage Center (CRHC)CRHC is located along the banks of the upper Choptank River in West Denton. Museum of Rural LifeThis museum tells the stories of people living in Caroline County's agriculture-base economy.
