Town of Denton - Voter Registration VOTER REGISTRATION FOR ELECTIONS
TOWN OF DENTON All citizens of Denton not yet registered to vote must do so in order to be eligible to vote in the Denton November elections. Under the universal registration law which went into effect January 1, 1990, any person registered to vote in the county automatically becomes eligible to vote in the Denton Town Elections, if qualified under the regulations set forth in the Town of Denton Charter which are as follows: Every person who is a citizen of the United States, is at least eighteen (18) years of age, has resided within the corporate limits of the town for 30 days preceding any town election, and is registered in accordance with the provisions of this charter and town ordinances shall be a qualified voter of the town. Transfers may be granted by the registration officials from one ward to another insaid town. . No person shall be entitled to register on Election Day. Every qualified voter of the town shall be entitled to vote at any or all elections. Voter registration is available Monday through Friday during normal working hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) at the Caroline County Board of Elections, Caroline Health and Public Services Building, at 403 South Seventh Street, Denton. Forms may be requested by calling the election office at (410) 479-8145, completed and mailed to the Board of Elections Offices. PLEASE NOTE: The last
date for registration to vote for the Town of Denton November 6, 2007
