Multi-Building Demolition RFP

The Town of Denton is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish buildings on the former Southern States property in Denton, which may include removal of asbestos and lead paint.
All proposed work will be reviewed and approved by the Town of Denton. The Town of Denton may select a vendor to accomplish demolition on one or several buildings which will be determined by the bids received on each of the units.
Qualified firms including small businesses and businesses owned by women, minorities and disabled persons are encouraged to submit bids or proposals.
A pre-bid meeting will take place September 25, 2019, 10a.m. at the construction site located at 1000 Market St., Denton, MD 21629.

- LID Techniques at The Villages at Watt’s Creek TND (2.4 MB)
This study was carried out to demonstrate how Low Impact Development controls can be integrated into a traditional neighborhood development (TND) community, to provide stormwater control while complementing the overall development design. Careful “Best Management Practice” (BMP) selection, proper placement, and appropriate sizing will maximize pollution and volume reductions in a cost effective manner.
